Senior Ads Eye of the Tiger 2019-2020 Half Full Single Person $100 $200 Shared (2 People) N/A $320 Custom Ad N/A $320 Thank you for choosing to place a Senior Ad to congratulate your senior. Here are the steps to create a great Senior Ad: 1. Select your choices for font, background, and a template in this packet. 2. Gather any pictures or text you wish to appear on your page, and choose however many pictures will fit on the template of your choice. 3. Appropriately name each of your pictures to coordinate with the numbers for the picture boxes on your tem- plate (match photos with the same orientation, horizontal and vertical, to match the template). For digital imag- es, please rename the file with the last name of the student, followed by the number of the picture box. For hard copy images, label each picture with a sticky note on the back of each image, with the same format—last name, number of picture box. (Important Note: Ink jet photos will not reproduce, please only submit digital photos or actual photographs. Also please note that scanning ink jet photos does not solve this issue.) 4. Type the text that is to appear on the ad. Do not exceed the number of words per text box on the template you choose. The number of words is found on top the text box on the template you chose. Avoid copyrighted mate- rial such as song lyrics. We cannot violate copyright laws. 5. Save full size digital media onto a storage device such as an SD card, CD, or Flash Drive (digital images, text documents with your text.) Images should be .jpg or .tiff format. To guarantee quality, submit digital photos us- ing the above method. Do not print digital photos at home to submit, they do not reproduce well. 6. Fill out the attached form with your contact information as well as your background, template, and font choices. 7. Purchase your Senior Ad and submit the form in the last page of this packet with your pictures, text and thumb drive in a sealed envelope with the student’s name to Mrs. Ortiz in the AHS Bookstore. Please wait to seal the envelope until after purchasing your ad in the bookstore. Bookstore hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. 8. You will be contacted by a member of the yearbook staff when your ad is complete so you can approve a physical proof. Your approval is needed within one week of receiving the proof. CUSTOM SENIOR ADS: The backgrounds, fonts and templates in this packet are specially designed to pro- duce high quality pages for print media. We strongly recommend you utilize the options presented here to insure best quality, but if you wish to create your own ad we are offering a Custom Senior Ad option. The print quality may be negatively impacted. Your Senior Ad packet paid in full is due no later than February 3, 2020. We have strict deadlines with our publishing company and cannot accommodate late ads. Terms and Agreement1. The final submission date is February 3, 2020. After this day, you cannot submit your form for a Senior Ad to appear in the 2020 Eye of the Tiger Yearbook. 2. Billing and Pricing. By purchasing this Senior Ad, you agree to pay the amount required for each Senior Ad of purchase. The payment must be completed by the time you submit the required information and content (this form, pictures, and text) for a Senior Ad. Payment must be made with cash, check, or money order. 3. Refunds. No refunds will be made for the purchase of a Senior Ad.4. Creation. Your Senior Ad will be created by the Yearbook Staff (with the exception of Custom Ads) as you specify with your choices for background, font, and template as well as how you label your pictures and text. If you do not label your pictures, the Yearbook Team will place the pictures where they feel will work best.5. Loss of property. The Yearbook Team cannot be held responsible for any lost property given to them for the creation of your Senior Ad. We will, however, make our best effort to return your property as soon as possible. 6. Spelling and grammar mistakes may occur. The Yearbook Team cannot be held responsible for spelling and grammar mistakes. To reduce the possibility of spelling and grammar mistakes, please write the student’s name clearly, and submit a digital copy of the text that is to appear on the page.
