2. Extradigital glomustumour A 45 -years-old men. The patient was referred to us for theassessment of a painful lesion on theright leg 3 months previously. Cutaneous examination revealed asingle round reddish papule of about 1cm in size. 3. Extradigital glomustumour The excision biopsy showed stratifiedsquamous lining with well circumscribed tumorin the dermis. The tumor consisted of sheets of uniform cellswith pale cytoplasm; round to ovoid centrallyplaced punched out nuclei and well defined cellmargins. There were numerous dilated thinwalled vascular spaces surrounded by a layerof tumor cells 4. Extradigital glomus tumour Extradigital glomus tumors are not a raresubgroup of glomus tumors. Commonly found in the corium andsubcutaneous tissue, mostly in the subungualregion of the fingers. The characteristic symptoms of digital glomustumors are, pain, tenderness with palpation,and hypersensitivity to cold. Excisional biopsy is usually necessary for thediagnosis as well as the treatment. 5. Extradigital glomus tumourF.
