Background: Differential Pressure Gauge for Lube Oil Filter for ALCo (BG) class of locomotive is used to measure the lube oil differential pressure across the lube oil filter housing. 2. Must Meet Requirements: The Differential Pressure Gougemust meets the following requirements:

Dial Size - 100 mm (Max).

The mounting arrangement shall be supplied along with gauge as a set.

Least count - 0.1 kg/cm2.

Case and Wetted parts - Stainless steel AlSl304 SS.

Red marking at 1.4 kg/cm2

Window - Perspex / Toughened glass

Seal - Viton Rubber

Internal Sealing Fluid - Silicon Oil.

Entry - Side Entry.

Accuracy + 2% (Max) as per IS 3624-1987 Clause No-14.1.6.

Max lube Oil Temperature - 1 100 C.

Gauge shall be resistant to the high level of vibrations in the radiator compartment of locomotive.

Field trials shall be carried out on 10 locomotives for a period of 8 months each. And, at the end of such 8 month period, the performance of the gauge will be assessed.

Compatibility of supplies: The mounting arrangement shall be supplied with the Gauge as a set and the complete set shall be readily adaptable to the filter housing and compatible with the lube oil.

3. Warranty/ Guarantee: The warranty clause shall apply as per standard IRS conditions.
