1 EXPORTING TO CSV FORMAT CSV Format is a user friendly option to export reports out of Banyon Data Systems applications to the Excel Spreadsheet. It’s cleaner and less editing on the Excel side. CSV is a comma separated values file, which allows data to be saved in a table format. CSV files look like a spreadsheet but have a .csv extension. CSV files can be used with any spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel. Once exported, this file type will open in Excel.

EXPORTING TO CSV FORMAT
CSV Format is a user friendly option to export reports out of Banyon Data Systems applications to
the Excel Spreadsheet. It’s cleaner and less editing on the Excel side.
CSV is a comma separated values file, which allows data to be saved in a table format.
CSV files look like a spreadsheet but have a .csv extension. CSV files can be used with any
spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel. Once exported, this file type will open in Excel.

To export to CSV – select CSV format from the Report Preview ribbon.
Click ‘OK’ when message pop up notifies you the Report has been exported to Excel.
Below is an example of the exported format. Modify the report if/as needed.

You can then save as a CSV file or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
