Exploring DesignThe Following pictures were done in the 1970s as some of my design research for work I was doing when studying for a Masters Degree. I took a simple kneeling nude pose and did a series of drawings, paintings and even a plasticine sculpture attempting to vary each picture in some way. Its worth here may stimulate an idea or two or encourage the beginner to explore various mediums around a theme. It may even help move one from realism towards abstraction. Theres a lot of things I havent tried so this isnt complete but provides I believe some stimulus.
