EXPLORATION AND

DISCOVERY

Exploration is to see new tings like an animal

with a magnifying glass, to see the stars or the space

with a telescope.

The discovery its to go and find new things and

do things like to do an experiment and you

discover a new thing.

Both are important because they help you to see

and learn new things and to research a lot .

THROUGH TIME

The fire: with the fire you can cook, do

experiments, decorate the presentation. The fire

was discovered by the homo-erectus. It has 3

elements that are oxygen, heat and fuel.

PENICILLIN

The penicillin is a medicine that was discovered

in 1930. The person who discovered the penicillin

was Alexander Fleming. The penicillin helps to

cure diseases like: respiratory infection, urinary,

dental etc…

X-RAYS

The x-rays are a picture that the doctors use to

know if you have a broken bone. The person who

discovered the x – rays was Wilhelm Roentgen

and it was discovered in 1895.

DISCOVERY OF

AMÉRICA

America was discovered by Christopher Columbus in

1492. Christopher Columbus wanted to go to Japan

because he wanted to prove that the Earth is round but

he went to America and Christopher Columbus brought

us diseases and they took away our richness.

The perspectives towards this discovery were:

The native Americans were sad because their families

were killed and they were very sick

The crew members were sad because they had just a

little bit of the treasures.

Christopher Columbus was sad because he received just

a little bit of the treasures and he went to jail.

The queen was happy because she was rich and was

more popular.

NAVIGATION

The navigation is to go from one place to another.

You can use different navigation tools.

One navigation tool is a sextant. The sextant is

used to know the angles of the sun. The sextant has a

ruler, a magnifying glass, glasses and it is made of

metal.

Maps are used to know where you are when you

are lost and to know how longer is the route.

GPS is used to know the directions. The GPS has

a screen .
