TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

DAY ONE: Our opening reception and dinner on Saturday, February

7 will be hosted by Yellowstone National Park Superintendent

Dan Wenk in his historic home located in Mammoth Hot Springs.

Superintendent Wenk will share stories about his experience

overseeing America’s very first national park and his distinguished

career with the National Park Service.

DAY TWO: Our first full day in the park will begin with a snow-coach

journey through the quiet, snow-covered woods for an inside look at

Yellowstone’s wildlife residents. Known as the Serengeti of North America, the Lamar Valley serves as a dramatic

background for bison, elk, bighorn sheep, coyote and the star attraction — wolves. After enjoying lunch back at

the hotel, guests can participate in a variety of afternoon activities, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing

or a walking-tour of the geology of the Mammoth Hot Springs area.

DAY THREE: We will head deeper into the park to Yellowstone’s most celebrated spot: Old Faithful. Wildlife

viewing and excursions to steaming geysers and hot pools will be part of the fun on this half-day snow

coach trip. After checking into and a leisurely lunch at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge, guests can choose from

outdoor activities such as skiing or a snowshoe hike exploring the colorful geysers and geothermal features of

the Old Faithful Geyser Basin.

DAY FOUR: After a hearty breakfast, we will depart the Old Faithful Snow Lodge for an exciting adventure to

Canyon Village. On our way, we will search out elusive wildlife and view winter landscapes that few people will

ever have the opportunity to see. We will have lunch in the Canyon Village warming station before our return trip

to the Old Faithful Snow Lodge. In the evening, we will enjoy a warm dinner and share stories of the day’s events.

DAY FIVE: We will say farewell to iconic Yellowstone National Park as we board our snow coaches for a scenic

ride to the park’s south entrance. That evening, we will rest easy in one of Jackson Hole’s famous historic inns,

The Wort Hotel, as we spend the afternoon resting or shopping for a last-minute remembrance of our time in this

beautiful and peaceful place. We will celebrate our adventure during our closing night dinner and say goodbye to

all the new friends we have made.

DAY SIX: Breakfast will be served Thursday morning at your leisure before you depart for home

or perhaps spend the weekend on your own skiing in beautiful Jackson Hole.

We hope you will be able to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
