Do you want to be notified when your groceries have gone bad? Well now you can with this brand new one of a kind app! Expirapp will make you aware of when your cheese starts molding, or when your milk gets chunky. This app is only $1.99 in the app store. It will not have any advertisements so you can enjoy Expirapp with zero interruptions. When you are ready to begin, tap the app on the bottom row, called Expirapp.

How it works

Take a picture of any grocery’s expiration date that you think may expire when you don’t realize it. If you are not satisfied with the picture, you can tap the back button in the top left corner to retake it. If you like the picture, tap the next button in the top right corner to continue.

This step will tell you how many days, hours, and minutes your product will expire in. Tap “Continue” to proceed.

Right now, you have only taken pictures of two expiration dates, since there are only two countdowns on your list. They will rotate from black to grey so it is easier to decipher them form one another. When you get more pictures and your list fills, you will be able to scroll through it by sliding your finger up and down the screen. The day when one of your products expire, the timer will go off to notify you. To return to the main menu, simply tap “Return to main.”
