The GGYC Progression –Dr Sri Radha’s Journey to Senior Teacher

We’ve done the hard work – Come and share your yogic journey with us.

It is vital 500hr Experienced to Senior Teachers in Training must be able to access work online and be flexible in their approach to learning. Expand your consciousness and be of service.Let’s look at the Career Path GGYC , encourages with Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Experience the huge levels of insight and support that GGYC offer to our teachers.

• The Core Curriculum at Experienced Yoga Teacher Level continues to be structured around 5 Modules. Continue with reading and meditation. Continue to seek silence and time alone as you consider the

diverse content of Mandatory books. Our 5 Module Course is clearly set out for each of 22 Days using 3 GGYC 200hr full colour, hard copy Training Manuals at 200hr and again at Diploma level.

• These make the Course delivery efficient and effective and those of you wishing to advance in understanding will make good use of the 200hr Manuals and the Supportive Senior Training Manual we

give. The 200hr Course delivery has been created by the Senior Teacher Sri Radha Sharon O’Neill and she is a wealth of knowledge for you to draw from. Additional Course material using Teams for

Further Training at GGYC Diploma level and Further Experienced Training and Post Graduate Programs for Specialized areas all link into the Foundation 5 Module Core Structure and so it’s a simple

stepping stone proven approach to learning.

• My Learning GGYC YOGA Resources on TEAMS Channels are classed as non-contact hours. They include GGYC Legacy Audios and Recordings. Live Zoom and TEAMS Recordings which are

created and made available from training days or privately created by Sri Radha - Access to a number of recordings of our 22 Training Days as a minimum are on file. Over 3000 Resources from a variety

of sources are accessible. Please note some of these can be made available for Advanced Study non Teaching level which 300hr Diploma Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with, to aid the

public in their understanding of What is Yoga.

• All training Dates for all Course levels are in our GGYC Course Prospectus and on the next slide. We give each Student free access to all trainings that occur in their Training Year on other courses at

Foundation level. They are also encouraged to attend Retreats with us if available. There is capacity to spread the 300hr Diploma over a 1 year period and also add an additional 100hours to improve

confidence without Senior responsibility. Additional Information

GGYC Not just about Asana…..

But it sure does help !

Mental Health concerns are very real around the impact of the Corona Virus Pandemic and subsequent effects on our

immediate and wider community.

Yoga insight and Long term Mediation practices are an

established and respected method to help create a stable day to day awareness. In short often helping

create a life of more joy, peace and gratitude.

Yoga practices help us create and share an environment for ourselves, of beautiful and

profoundly mystical yet often scientifically measurable

experiences.

Senior Development cannot be rushed – Good Self awareness and Self Care and Discipline are vital.

Kriya of Kundalini Tantra and Raja Yoga are encouraged to assist.

Experience – the real difference

• We focus on helping you gain practice and experience. By training with GGYC you will develop a better understanding of how to effectively teach asana, pranayama and meditation to all levels and address the various conditions students present, as well as further developing a deeper awareness of subtle and physical body alignment. The practice of teaching others is a must for an Experienced Yoga Teacher certification. GGYC Courses are designed to evolve over time. There is capacity to remain supported to a Senior Teacher certification if a student shows exceptional cabability.

• While we reflect and build on all the key information for the 200-hour program, a much more in-depth study of these topic takes place on our Senior 300/500-hour courses. Teaching practice and experience are required, Students are individually assessed and coached over a 12 -18 - 24 month period. It is a requirement that our Experienced teachers have lots of teaching experience and should be working toward 4000 teaching hours for graduation for our GGYC YAP qualification.

• Teachers must attend part or all of a minimum of one Intensive course if possible, 10 private One to One Asana sessions on line, in person mentoring, weekly evening Workshops, and as many weekends as possible with 200hr Teachers in training as possible during the 18 month training period and ideally attend Retreat.

Be a Yogi & Be a Teaching Professional

• Obviously, advancing to the Senior Program is not applicable, necessary, or suitable for everyone. However, being supported as you progress is invaluable, so YAP developed the Expereienced badge to help give those who really want to progress.

• There is a requirement over time to accumulate teaching hours and submerse yourself in the experience. Therefore, the self-regulatory aspect to 500hr Senior Training must be accepted. You should please plan to access as many GGYC and alternative training hours and My Learning GGYC resources on TEAMS as possible and must be available f or private Mentoring ( in person, online and by call)

• This is a gradual process that will evolve over time. It is possible to help assist on GGYC Yoga Teacher Training Programs with Lead Trainer Sri Radha once you have gain in Experience and our YAP qualifications are acquired. Over time you may be invited to participate at GGYC TTC Programs. There is a requirement in YAP that Senior Yoga Teacher Status is held 8 years with 4000 teaching hours prior to being able to run a training program as the lead teacher. This may or may not appeal but you are eligible to explore the possibilities with us at GGYC. There is no better way to learn your craft than by teaching it.
