The Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) is Queensland’s largest and most loved annual event, attracting on average 400,000 people.

Run by the RNA for 10 days in August and staged at its original birthplace, the Brisbane Showgrounds, the Ekka brings the country and city together for a true celebration of agriculture.

The Ekka showcases the best of Queensland, attracting more than 21,000 competition entries from woodchop to giant vegetables, 10,000 animals from beef cattle to cats and dogs, world-class live entertainment, award-winning food and wine, carnival rides and showbags, family shopping, educational activities and much more.

The iconic show has been running since 1876 and is full of traditions, a unique atmosphere and childhood memories which have been passed down through generations of families.

By purchasing the Pass/ Package you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions as well as any other conditions specified by RNA on its website.Groups1. 9. The RNA reserves the right to add, withdraw and/or limit the number of tickets sold on promotion at any stage.

Entry1. The RNA reserves the right to inspect all bags and containers being

brought into the Brisbane Showgrounds and refuse entry to any person carrying any item that in the RNA’s absolute discretion is dangerous or prohibited.

2. The RNA reserves the right to refuse entry to any person whose Pass is damaged, has been defaced in any way, does not have a fully visible bar-code or was not obtained through a ticket seller authorised by the RNA. List of authorised ticket seller can be found on this page.

3. The RNA reserves the right to require the presentation of valid and current ID such as an Australian driver’s licence, Australian passport or proof of age on a Concession, Child or Little Ekka Pass. Carer with a valid carer or companion card receives free entry if accompanying disabled person (1 carer per person). List of accepted concession cards is available for viewing on www.ekka.com.au.

4. Persons entering the Brisbane Showgrounds do so at their own risk. The RNA accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage to any person or thing.

5. Persons entering the Brisbane Showgrounds waive all rights in relation to any photograph, image or likeness of them produced whilst attending the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka). The RNA retains all rights in all images it produces.

6. No alcohol or drugs of any type shall be brought on to the premises.7. Scooters (except mobility scooters), skateboards, bicycles, roller blades,

hover boards, segways or other equipment that may interfere with pedes-trian traffic are not permitted.

8. The RNA reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests from the Brisbane Showgrounds for vandalism, stealing, offensive behaviour, queue line jumping, failure to follow safety instructions or failure to comply with these terms & conditions.

9. Pass outs are available for free at Information Booths within the Ekka precinct between 9am - 8pm. Pass outs may only be used for re-entry to the Brisbane Showgrounds on the day of issue only. Only one (1) Pass out is allowed for each ticket holder. Suitable ID as outlined in Brisbane Showground T&C’s will be required.

10. Ekka Ride Cards are not for resale, except via RNA authorised source.11. Ekka Ride Cards are not subject to GST.12. By purchasing an Ekka Pass, Food and Beverage Card, and/or Ride
