PPPE 2018 Welcome: Exhibitors and Sponsors

It is with excitement and pleasure that I welcome your interest to exhibit and sponsor at the Pan Pacific Pork Expo (PPPE) 2018.

The two day event will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on 30–31 May 2018 with a comprehensive program of presentations, workshops and trade displays. The year’s theme ‘Driving efficiency together’ is a call to action to bring producers and

industry stakeholders together to collaborate and adopt cost production efficiencies to overcome the challenges facing the industry, in order to remain globally competitive.

Boosted by a strong trade exhibition, the PPPE 2018 objective for attendees remains the same; to provide accurate, positive, relevant and high quality industry information in an engaging format. By achieving this, producers will be motivated to apply practical knowledge and processes on farm, for profitable and sustainable pig production.

PPPE 2018 is the perfect event for your company to engage directly with producers who want to learn and collaborate with all involved in the supply chain, whether it be genetics and product quality, production into abattoir operations or customer needs in the wholesale retailer and foodservice sectors. This is a hands on opportunity for attendees to engage with your company, as you showcase your products and services. BackgroundThe Pan Pacific Pork Expo (PPPE) combines a pork industry trade show and exhibition with information sessions supported by Australian Pork Limited (APL) and Pork Cooperative Research Centre (Pork CRC).

Since beginning in 1998, PPPE has continued to grow, attracting both domestic and international participants. Around 500 producers, members and stakeholders will come together at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) over two days. A large indoor trade exhibition will run in conjunction with an innovative program and social functions, providing plenty of opportunity to network with key decision makers involved in the Australian pork industry. These are listed below:

• Pork producers• Processors• Retail and food service industries• Researchers• Scientists• Educators• Subsidiary service providers such as insurers and financial institutions• Government officials.

Introduction

Information for exhibitorsFor exhibitors wishing to exhibit at the PIX/AMC 2018 (Poultry Information Exchange and Australasian Milling Conference), negotiations have been carried out with the PIX Organising Committee, GCCEC and ExpoNet to allow PPPE exhibitors to have the choice of leaving their booth in Exhibition Hall 1 or storing additional equipment for either event onsite.

If you choose to change your location for PIX/AMC you will need to discuss this with ExpoNet and the PIX Organising Committee. The exhibition company ExpoNet (the official exhibition company for PPPE and PIX) will only charge one lot of cartage and placement to exhibitors involved in both events.

Secretariat Secretariat services for PPPE are provided by APL. The technical program for the expo is developed in consultation with APL, Pork CRC staff and industry representatives.

The trade exhibition and social activities are conducted in coordination with APL and Pork CRC staff, along with input from various industry representatives.

Exhibition opportunitiesThe PPPE 2018 trade exhibition will be located in Exhibition Hall 1 at the GCCEC. Plenary, concurrent sessions and workshop are held in adjacent meeting rooms A, B and C. The advantage is the whole conference is on one level.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available to all exhibitors. There are a discounts available to Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors that wish to take out both sponsorship and trade exhibition packages.

Please complete the following form as appropriate.

Investment: A 20 per cent deposit of the total payment for the exhibition booth or sponsorship opportunity must accompany the booking form. A tax invoice will be forwarded on receipt of the deposit. Final payments must be received by Monday 9 April 2018. Please note all quoted prices are GST inclusive.

Bookings for all sponsorship opportunities will be allocated strictly on a first come first served basis.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The organiser of the exhibition is Australian Pork Limited and Pork CRC Limited.2. If the exhibitor fails to comply with any of the rules and regulations, or any requirements stipulated by the Fire Department, Health Department or State or Commonwealth Acts, the organiser has the right to sell the space and the exhibitor will forfeit all monies paid.3. The organiser reserves the right to decline any application to participate in the sponsorship opportunities if it believes the applicant’s participation would not be in the best interests of Australian Pork Limited, Pork CRC Limited or its members.4. The organiser reserves the right to redesign the floor plan to the benefit of exhibitors, as it sees fit.5. Exhibitors must have appropriate third party liability insurance cover, proof of which may be requested.6. Exhibitors must not erect any sign, display or obstruction, which intrudes into adjoining exhibitors’ space.7. Exhibitors must not damage in any way the walls, floors, ceilings or any other surface of the exhibition area.8. The organiser accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, costs and expenses, which may arise from the supply of samples by exhibitors to any person.9. The organiser will take all precautions it considers necessary for the protection and security of exhibited articles but cannot be responsible for the safety, loss or damage of any exhibit or other property under any circumstances whatsoever.10. Exhibits must not be dismantled or removed before the published closing time of 5.30pm on Thursday 31 May 2018.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a sponsorship package or exhibit being cancelled, Australian Pork Limited will refund total payment minus the 20 per cent deposit, if the cancellation is received in writing before Monday 19 March 2018. Cancellations after that date will attract a fee of 30 per cent of the total fee payable on the booking (not including the 20 per cent non refundable deposit).
