Chrome Guard® is a thermal barrier pipe lining product intended todeter heat discoloration on chrome exhaust pipes. It is sold in pow-dered form and must be mixed with water before being applied. It iswater soluble and non-toxic. Cycle Shack does not recommend use ofChrome Guard® in pipes with fiberglass baffles. Due to varying engineconditions such as improper jetting, retarded timing, vacuum leaks,improper spark plug heat range, detonation from low-octane fuel, mod-ified camshaft timing, etc. Cycle Shack cannot guarantee that chromediscoloration will be completely eliminated.
