WS-016: Exercise 3
Instructions (Phase 1)
• Scene ready
• All controllers in place at the scene
• Players ready at a remote location
• Start with initial emergency call about the emergency
• Conduct the exercise in slow time• Stop the play as required to comment on control
actions and challenges

Instructions (Phase 1)(Cont’d)
• Limit the play to 1.5 hours
• Terminate when the victims have been removed from the scene and personnel have been controlled for contamination
• Make sure the scene is returned to normal
• Move to the phase 2 scene

Instructions (Phase 2)
• Everybody at phase 2 scene• Phase 2 players ready and tagged• Victims ready• Start with C-1 being transferred to hospital• Conduct in slow time
• Time needs to be compressed• Stop and comment as required• Focus on exercise control• Non-players are observers

• Limit the play to 1 hour
• Go through all injects
• Terminate after 1 hour
• Return the scene to normal
• Reconvene in the classroom
