Ministry Update April, 2019 Hello Ministry Friends, Did you know that Love INC does not exist without you, The Church? We are comprised of 49 local church partners (and growing) and numerous Christ followers that partner together to create Love INC of Brevard. We provide structure for Christians to come together with their gifts, talents, and resources to live out God’s mandate to help people in need. Love INC calls this “mobilizing The Church”; one example is local church members volunteer as client mentors in our Clearinghouse Call Center. These mentors build relationship with clients while prayerfully determining how we can move them forward spiritually, physically, emotionally and relationally toward sustainability, as well as offer material resources because relief and restoration go hand-in-hand. Featured Client: Together we have been serving a woman for 8 months, here is a look at her journey toward sustainability so far: Spiritually - She is trusting God more fully and hearing His voice more clearly, she’s more involved at church and even went on a missions trip a few months ago. Physically - She has several disabilities, including alcoholism, and is currently unemployed. After a recent surgery she is now working with Vocational Rehabilitation to find employment and is attending AA to help overcome her addiction. Emotionally - She is in group counseling through Love INC, is making great progress, and is filled with infectious joy! Relationally - She is building healthy relationships through volunteering at Village Thrift and through her support groups. Materially - She has earned bus passes, personal care items, and grocery gift cards as incentives for her hard work in getting her finances healthy through our budget mentoring course. Moving forward we are praying for a car to be donated that will be perfect for her and further support her job search. We are praising God for the 16 churches that united in service last month to bless Jupiter Elementary and Emma Jewel Charter School. Many thanks to Covenant Church and Love INC of Brevard 830 N.
