For generations, the BRANDNER family has been involved in work around and on the Danube.

Our intimate connection with the river and the sustainable use of natural resources have formed the basis of our corporate philosophy

since the establishment of the company in 1776 up until the present day. The foundation stone for passenger shipping was laid in

1995 with the acquisition of the MS Austria. The aim was to create a completely new experience for pleasure boat trips in the Wachau

region. Cleanliness, large windows, light-filled interiors, a friendly crew and above all safety for passengers are BRANDNER‘s top

priorities.

BRANDNER Schiffahrt operates liner cruises in the Wachau and charter cruises on the entire Danube with our two stylish ships MS

Austria, the extra class ship, and ms austria princess, the ship with many yacht-like features for the refined claim.

Thanks to the BRANDNER Schiffahrt philosophy of innovation and ongoing investment, passenger cruises along the Danube have

taken on a whole new quality and dynamic.

Wachau, the family business also offers exclusive charters on the entire length of the Danube. We offer modern seminar technology

on board our ships, a professional touch at your fingertips. High-tech systems bring the sound of your selected music on each deck

and in any salon. Our exclusive equipment and variable seating arrangements on the ships offer great opportunities to perfectly meet

Accessability on board: The MS Austria is completely barrier-free on the main deck, with access to the small sun deck as well as to

suitable toilet facilities. The ms austria princess is completely barrier-free and also equipped with suitable toilet facilities inside the main

deck. A stair lift allows for easy access to the spacious sun deck.

Smoke-free: Both ships are smoke-free in the inside area. If you enjoy an occasional cigarette or cigar, comfortable outdoor decks

are at your disposal at the rear of the ship.

Our fleet

MS Austria – the high-end ship

The glass panorama windows in the salon wachau.genuss draw the ambience of the Wachau valley breathtakingly into the ship. On-

board the recently remodelled ship (2008), glass dominates throughout, leaving a spacious open plan feel whilst offering spectacular

views to the majestic scenery as it rolls past, which can be enjoyed from the comfort of the luxury lounges or out on deck. Special

design features include a glass water wall that greets passengers as they embark. A dance floor with glass walled gallery. The ship is

fitted with a livecam on the bow which transmits the images

onto screens in the saloons of the MS Austria. These screens

can also be used for presentation purposes.The main deck

is barrier-free.

On board the MS Austria, the following options are possible

• Daily cruises in the Wachau from April to October

• Part-charter of one of the salons during the daily cruising line

• Exclusive charter of the ship (possible on the entire Danube)

lounge you are close to the water, here you experience the thrust of the

propeller urging the craft to its destination.

A glass wall allows an unobstructed view over the bow of the MS Austria

- the ship‘s bell, winch and capstan are within reach. The video screen

shows the beginning of the Brandner family business: Grandfather Lud-

wig Brandner as a guide in town of Wallsee; the three Brandner brothers

with their first self-built ship.

the Danubes waters drift calmly by as your meal is served, the exquisite

scenery „flows into the lounge“ with a majestic and timeless ease. Deli-

landscape.

The princess‘s distinctive and elegant interior ambience makes the ship so unique. Beside an attractive appearance, the main focus of

the BRANDNER company was laid on quality and comfort, seamlessly blend with a distinctive style. Equipped with the latest technical

appliances, the ms austria princess disposes of flat screens for power point or video presentations as well as a drop down screen

and video beamer. The on-board computer system, which can also be operated via laptop, allows your presentations, video clips or

musical accompaniment to be played.

Combined, the professional seminar equipment, a room dimmer system and air conditioning, together provide the ms austria princess

with superb some refinements!

For culinary delights, our gastronomic team awaits you with fresh on board prepared meals. A particular highlight on board the ms

austria princess is the buffet surprise: culinary delights appear magically from beneath the floor from our board chef accompanied by

light effects.
