FORMATTING CELLS

The cells group allows you to:•Insert cells, columns, rows, or sheets•Delete cells, columns, rows, or sheets

The format command allows you to change the formatting of cells, columns, and rows, as well as organize sheets and add protection to your work.

CHARTS

• Column• Used to compare values across categories.

• Line• Used to display trends over time.

• Pie• Used to display values of each contribution (parts

of a whole)• Bar• Best for comparing multiple values.

• Area• Emphasize differences between several sets of

data over time.• Scatter• Compares pairs of values.

CHART TOOLS

The Chart Tools tabs allow you to make changes to the design, layout, and format of your chart.

The layout tab is where you can make changes to the titles and labels of your chart.
