Border styles are found on the Home tab in the Font group.

FORMULAS

•Formulas must always start with =•The four basic operations are represented by: +, -, *, /•You may type a formula directly into the cell or into the formula bar.

FILL DOWN

Once you have a formula written, you can have Excel automatically apply it to the rest of a column or row by filling down. To do this, drag the square down to the appropriate cell.

FIND REPLACEFind/Replace can be very useful when you are looking for specific information or need to replace certain information. It is found by clicking Find and Select on the Home tab.

PRINT PREVIEW

Before printing, make sure you have what you need on one page.

FREEZE PANESWhen you have a large sheet, freeze panes can be very useful. You can freeze a row, column, or selection. It is found on the View tab.

To freeze a selection, you will need to select the cell that is below and to the right of the ones you want to freeze.
