•Dig site – select location from choice offered•Find digging supplies – hidden in world•Find food – hidden in world•Choose mining method – export 2D graphic into Kahootz•Choose housing – tent etc

Students continue to build a game around life in the goldfields which reflects learning linked to H.S.I.E.

ACTION GAMESIncorporating first person shooter games

•Players to use quick reflexes accuracy, and timing to overcome obstacles. •Most basic of gaming genres, and certainly one of the broadest.•Action games tend to have gameplay with emphasis on combat.

ACTION GAMESExample: Micro-organism HuntLinked to Marvelous Micro-organisms Primary Connections Unit of Work

•Import 2D images of good and bad micro-organisms into Kahootz•Players need to differentiate between good and bad micro-organsisms in order to locate and destroy the bad micro-organisms•Weapon built out of shapes or other objects from the library, grouped then placed in scene and attached to camera.•Actions attached to objects (e.g. explode object)
