This is to ensure that the integrity classifications for all aeronauti- cal data are achieved in order to assist the implementation of the ICAO CNS/ ATM concept. The Avitech eWiz@rd Suite has been designed to assist ANSPs and CAAs in automating their AIM operations in accordance with ICAO requirements and to support them in the process of receiving, approving and publishing aeronautical data for AIPs, charts and other tailored aeronautical publications. The eWiz@rd Suite is implemented as a multilevel system with 6 process- ing levels covering the complete AIM process from raw data collection till AIP amendment publishing. Each level of the process is covered by certain member of the eWiz@rd Suite family. Beside this core applications eWiz@rd Suite contains number of additional modules providing common (e.g. user management) or specific functional-ity (as specific S2S interfaces e.g. to EAD).
The eADP.wiz@rd ensures that the raw data received is assessed, approved and stored in a predetermined se-quence and that all actions are legally recorded. This function is compliant with ICAO Annex 15, Eurocontrol ADP/ SDP, RTCA/EURCEA Document DO-200A/ED77 and fulfils all require-ments to backtrace all activities from its initial source and value to its final use and value within the other eWiz@rd products.
Raw Data Management
The eADP.wiz@rd database records all incoming requests for publication changes.
Web based interface is available for direct request submission by the orig- inators.
Task Management
Task Management module provides facilities to effectively manage proc-esses, resources, schedules, and work allocation.
Configurable Workflow Process
Implemented workflow engine which draw on experiences of Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) and operational requirements of AISs could be configured to be suitable for any organisation without significant impact to existing business model and infrastructure.
The eSDO.wiz@rd provides the user with the functionality for collecting all data necessary for publication of the AIP, AIP Amendment, AIP AIRAC Amendment, AIP Supplement, AIP AIRAC Supplement, and AIC, includ-ing aeronautical maps and charts and other applications.
Data Storage
The database is a physical implemen-tation of the Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model (AICM). The implementation ensures extensibility for relations and additional entities or attributes according to national and other requirements such as from airlines.
The eSDO.wiz@rd implements fully temporal database that allows storing unlimited number of past and future versions of the data together with the effective one.
4-eyes Principle
To significantly enhance the integrity of manually entered data eSDO.wiz@rd supports so called 4-eyes mode when every change to data has to be performed by two different operators. Only when the change is done in the same way it can be committed into the operational database.
Metadata Management
Each data element stored in the data- base can have defined a set of special attributes containing additional information – metadata. The flexible metadata model is based on ISO and ICAO requirements.
ICAO has published the Amendment No. 33 to Annex 15 which extends data provision for contracting states to terrain and obstacle data in electronic form.
The eTOD.wiz@rd was especially designed to collect and maintain the obstacles data relevant for Procedure Design and for aeronautical charts. It also provides the feature to store and to retrieve Digital Terrain Models and Geography data.
The eTOD.wiz@rd is intended to assist the timely implementation of the provision of Electronic Terrain and Ob- stacle Coverage Area Data covers all ICAO Annex 15 Areas:
1: Entire territory of a state 2: Terminal Control Area 3: Aerodrome/Heliport Area 4: Category II or III Operations Area
The obstacle and terrain data main- tenance follows the same procedures as aeronautical data maintenance covered by eSDO.wiz@rd.
GIS Viewer
The eSDO/eTOD.wiz@rd GIS viewer allows to display, filter, visually validate and navigate geo-referenced aeronautical data as airspaces, en-routes or navigational aids, obstacle and terrain data in geo-referenced 2D and 3D graphical view.

The eMAP.wiz@rd provides a compre- hensive aeronautical charts production solution that covers the whole chart publication lifecycle from chart defini- tion, automated generation, change detection and update, up to printable output creation.
Chart Generation and Update
The eMAP.wiz@rd automatically gen- erates charts based on the approved working packages for each publication date.
The generation tool of new charts uses the customizable chart and feature definitions, chart attributes, templates and the AICM database data to create new chart.
Aeronautical features generated are automatically linked with database. This provides capability of performing impact assessment for planned data changes as well as automated updates of chart.
The eAIP.wiz@rd is tasked with the as- sembly, integration, production, main- tenance and storage of the AIPs, AIP Amendments, AIP Supplements, AICs and all other publication types defined in the system.
eAIP.wiz@rd provides professional WYSIWYG DTP text processing func-tionality and full XML support.
Multi Language Support
The publications can be published in any language. The eAIP.wiz@rd supports also multi-language publica- tion production in a two column or two volume formats.
Document Generation
Based on the change analysis the eAIP.wiz@rd automates update of header and footer information and gen- eration of special publication parts as tables of content, checklists, list of amendments and supplements, list of hand corrections and cover pages. Then the final step in the publication process is the compilation of distribu-tion-ready version of documents.
The eFLIP.wiz@rd extends the eAIP.wiz@rd functionality to provide the military user with integrated quality process management for the publi-shing of FLIP and FLIP Amendments in NATO STANAG 3970, CENOR FLIP or in any other custom format.
ICAO AIP Integration
The eFLIP.wiz@rd can be combined with the eAIP.wiz@rd for nations who publish a military AIP based on ICAO Annex 15 in addition to a FLIP. The AIP publication is based on the same aeronautical data.

Human Machine Interface
The eWiz@rd Suite applications consist of a user friendly windows based interface for data entry, approval and publication generation. The windows menu structure is designed to ensure the proper workflow of all data through the entire publication process, from raw data reception to final publication generation.
Legal Recording
The eWiz@rd Suite provides fully auto- mated legal recording functionality. Every amendment of whatever AIS data (static data, AIP, SUP, AIC, chart) is recorder for backward traceability.It is possible to trace who, when, where and why performed the amendment.
The eADP.wiz@rd prevents to take an action without recording the personal responsibility for that action.
NOTAM Integration
The eWiz@rd provides links to all NOTAM in the NOTAM database which affect the static data or publications.
Automated issue of Trigger and Cancel NOTAM proposals on publication release or NOTAM incorporation and generation of NOTAM summary doc- uments are possible when the link to NOTAM system is established.
Data Export and Exchange
The data once approved and stored can be made available by accessing them from the various applications using the Avitech AxL (Aeronautical Exchange Layer) or to export them.
The Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM) format and ARINC424 are the most used interfaces. For data exchange with the European AIS Database (EAD) the EAD System In-terface (ESI) package is implemented.

Conformance Statement
The eWiz@rd Suite is designed to assist the implementation of an ICAO Annex 15 recommended Quality System in Aeronautical Information Publication Departments of state AISs and organizations working on be- half of states to publish AIPs and data.
The implementation of the require- ments of the Eurocontrol Static Data Procedures (SDP) is ensured. The current database conforms to AIXM Edition 4.5+ and is always ready for its successor editions in the future.
The RTCA/EUROCAE Documents DO-272/ED99, DO 276/ED98 and DO 291/ED119 concerning Aeronautical, Terrain, Obstacle and Aerodrome Map- ping Data and exchange are conside-red in the design.
The eMAP.wiz@rd implementation ensures of the requirements ICAO Annex 4 and ICAO Chart Manual (Doc 8697) is ensured.
The eFLIP.wiz@rd is designed to assist the implementation of NATO STANAG 3970 and 7005 by taking advantage of the ICAO Annex 15 recommended Quality System in military Aeronautical Information Publication Departments of NATO member nations.
