    heads, )ased on the other's appearan&e, the -ay they tal*, or perhaps even thin#s they've heard

    that he -as (ust an immature human -ho -asn't very smart. 5er pre(udi&e a#ainst humans made

    it easy to ma*e this ;ui&* (ud#ment. /n the animated eature Beauty and the Beast, Belle and the

    Beast have mutual eelin#s o disli*e immediately. The Beast -as holdin# Belle's ather in

    prison so o &ourse she had a )ad opinion o him. "ll o the irst impressions in these e amples

    Many people thin* they are ree o pre(udi&e. / they dis&over that they do, indeed, have

    relationship. 4alls are easily ere&ted -hen -e meet people. Trust is somethin# that is earned,

    sometimes very slo-ly. "ndy -as mistreated )y some o the prisoners in The ha-shan*

    !edemption. !ed &ould not help )ut eel sorry or him and did -hat little he &ould to help him.

    :eytiri slo-ly starts to reali6e -hat a terri i& and &oura#eous #uy a*e is and even starts to all in

    love -ith him. Beast #ives Belle his li)rary, a #esture that means a lot to Belle as )oo*s are her

    avorite thin#. =n&e you #et past irst impressions, it is an adventure #ettin# to *no- a person.

    !elationships &han#e over time )e&ause people #et to *no- one another )etter and they

    &an see ea&h other's point o vie-. " ter a dismal )e#innin#, they may even all in love or

    )e&ome )est riends. First impression are not al-ays a&&urate. Fa&tors that )rea* do-n

    pre&on&eived ideas in&lude other people's opinions, len#th o time spent to#ether, and

    &ompassion or human su erin#. Empathy and &ompassion )uild relationships.
