Next Level Scope of Delivery• Short delivery times• Wide range of applications • High number of options • Energy recovery as standard

Next Level Reliability• Robust design• High-quality materials• Future-proof control system• Efficient maintenance

The EVOLUTION® BLUE elevator systemThe new EVOLUTION® BLUE elevator sys-tem is a system solution based on require-ments of the future.

The EVOLUTION® BLUE passenger elevator is an impressive revolutionary solution for new installations and modernised buildings that reflects the expertise of the company on an international level. A corporation-wide development strategy has produced a range of elevators that combine maximum quality, compactness and technology with an attrac-tive bi-colour design.

OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE:

• Compact elevator system without machine room (will also be available at a later date with reduced shaft headroom and shaft pit).

• Suitable for residential and medium to high-rise office buildings (commercial buildings) with a maximum of 40 floors.

• Modular construction for short delivery times and a wide range of individual requirements.

Next Level Safety• CE type certified product• Tested by the German Association for

Technical Inspection (TÜV Süd)• Compliant with EN 81-A3 standards• Stopping accuracy (+/- 1mm)

Next Level Efficiency• New highly efficient drive motor• Integrated E.COR® control system• Energy-saving• LED lighting• Energy recovery• Eco/high-speed mode• Passive cooling of the control system• Situational adjustment of operating

mode and main landings• Energy efficiency class A*

Next Level Design• Unique, high-quality bi-colour design• Three designs (STYLE, CHIC, ELEGANT)• A wide range of combination possibilities• Rapidly and flexibly exchangeable car

design• Invisible car ventilation system• Millimetre-adjustment of the car• Decorative lighting with RGB LEDs• Elevator car design can be selected at

a later stage during the ordering process• Very flexible to customer requests

Next Level Innovation• No machine room• Suitable for existing buildings• Optimal utilisation of the elevator shaft• E.COR® control system• RISC processor core• Multiprocessor technology• Whisper control for the reduction of

switching operations• Energy regeneration

Next Level Comfort• Increased available car area• Low-noise (complies with VDI 2566

SST II / III)**• Smooth-running• Soft and precise landing• Well-being atmosphere

* 630 kg, 3 landings, travel height of 5.8 m, utilisation

category 1 according to VDI4707.

** The corresponding soundproofing measures are also

optionally available at a later stage.

The on-site construction of the elevator shaft must

meet the requirements of VDI 2566 SST II / III.

Energy EfficiencyE.COR® protects the environment and your budget.Our control system is distinguished by its standby mode with operational landing calls and a higher degree of flexibility. This therefore reduces energy consumption. Furthermore, the parking level is auto-matically adjusted to the respective passenger traffic in order to avoid unnecessary runs under no load and optimise the handling capacity.

Through the combination of EVOLUTION® BLUE, E.COR® and our new frequency converter generation type RPI, we have achieved an energy efficiency class A rating in utilisation category 1 according to VDI 4707*. We are therefore making a significant contribution to the reduction of ongoing operating and energy costs and the lowering of CO

2 emissions.

* measured on an energy-optimised system: 630 kg, 3 landings, travel height of 5.8 m, LED lighting and automatic shutdown of car

lighting, PMC gearless drive with a power regenerative RPI frequency converter and basic scope of delivery with conventional shaft

head and shaft pit.

Landing door installationLanding door installed directly in the shaft using dowels,

otherwise no special structural requirements.

The following are used:

CW = car width

CD = car depth

CH = car height

SW = shaft width

SP = shaft pit

SH = shaft head

SD = shaft depth

DW = door width

DH = door height

Technology with a secure futureA manufacturer-independent computer core with integrated passive cooling ensures a high level of ener-gy efficiency for the necessary computing capacity making up to 40 elevators in one group possible.

Monitoring/initial operation/maintenanceAn internet interface via Ethernet delivers specific information for service personnel regarding compo-nents that are subject to wear. An additional feature offered by the E.COR® is the possibility to use existing networks to connect to a monitoring system. Malfunction indicators and a performance management of the elevators via LAN networks enable a rapid identification of the root cause of a malfunction which in turn ensures a high level of availability and short downtimes. Verbal instructions for elevator wardens in emergency situations ("sound on board") are an additional component which will be available in future.

Environmentally friendly productionDuring the production of our E.COR® control system, we ensure that the environment is protected (our production facilities are ISO 14001 certified). We only use components which comply with the latest na-tional environmental regulations such as the RoHS EC Directive (2002 / 95 / EL). Our suppliers also carry out their production according to these regulations.

graphical plain text displayE.COR® offers an in-built graphical plain text display with pictograms so that it can be quickly and easily operated. This in turn allows a quick and easy initial operation process, even without a laptop or diag-nostic unit. National languages are supported (Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese characters, etc. will be available soon). In future, the E.COR® will also have an integrated verbal announcement. Text modules can be configured on the display and will in future be configurable via the internet.

ThyssenKrupp Aufzugswerke GmbH is setting new standards in energy efficiency.EVOLUTION® BLUE has the highest energy efficiency class rating (A) for standstill and drive operations. This has been proven by means of internal measurements. Through its additional energy-saving tech-nology, E.COR® offers more than market and VDI requirements and is therefore taking a new, future-oriented direction. The energy efficiency of each individual system can be evidenced during the offer phase by means of the corresponding manufacturer certificate.

LCD displayProtecting the environment be-gins with how we think. For this reason, the EVOLUTION® BLUE display shows you the current operating mode of the eleva-tor. At the same time, the LCD technology used is significantly more efficient than comparable LED indicators.

LED lightingBy using highly efficient and energy-saving LED lighting, up to 78 % of energy can be saved in comparison to fluorescent lamps.

E.COR® - elevator control unitE.COR® protects the environ-ment and your budget - the brain behind your elevator. The principle is as simple as it is effective: E.COR® only switches components on if they are actually required. In this way, standby requirements are kept to a minimum (depending on the selected option, etc.) (35 Watt for BC61 F 00, 630 kg, 3 landings, speed 1.0 m / s, basic scope of delivery LED lighting). In order to gain even more efficiency when in operation, the control system can be alternated between an eco-mode and a high-speed mode thanks to an integrated passenger traffic tool. This re-sults in a further 5 % of energy being saved.

Fact Sheet EVOLUTION® BLUE BC 61 F 00 - 40

Highly-efficient drive A compact and exceptionally low-noise gearless synchro-nous drive with an efficiency level above 90 % is used. The drive is distinguished by a significantly higher level of efficiency in comparison to hydraulic and gear systems. Furthermore, no oil change is necessary unlike standard gear systems.

RPI frequency converter *Each EVOLUTION® BLUE con-tains a converter with energy recovery. Electrical energy is therefore generated for an upward movement with light passenger loads as well as for an downward movement with heavy passenger loads. Whilst conventional elevators without energy recovery release this kinetic energy into the sur-rounding area as heat, the RPI converter feeds this energy back into the electricity grid of the building and can be used by other consumers/devices. In combination with the drive, this offers savings potential of up to 39% (comparison of MRL with/ without possible). The system also uses the newly developed single contactor technology. This leads to a significant reduction of the switching operations of the tra-vel contactor. Conventional ele-vators use switching processes for every car movement. With EVOLUTION® BLUE, this is only activated once a day for testing purposes or if the elevator has been set to standby mode.
