He holds a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.Before he founded EVI, Vinod spent two decade as a business consultant, handling cross-border mergers and acquisitions, large-scale financial re-engineering, and the launching of new products and ventures.

Ashutosh is a chemical engineer from HBTI, Kanpur and holds a master's degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.Under his leadership, EVI has grown from its first assignment to a presence in more than 10 countries across four continents today. He is an expert on the carbon markets and sustainability related issues.

Atul is a Mechanical Engineer and also has a Masters degree in Energy and Environment from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is a certified energy auditor from BEE, Bureau of Energy Efficiency. With more than 10 years of industry experience, Atul is a well known expert on methodology and PDD development.

Mahua holds a master's degree from Yale University.Mahua has worked in the climate change space and the carbon market for the past decade. In past she has also worked with World Bank in Washington, DC and at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development where she led the development of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol

Deepak has over 22 years of industry experience in the United States and in India. He holds a B.Tech in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, an MS each from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Minnesota, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

He holds a masters degree in Land and Water Management Engineering and has studied 'Energy Planning and The Environment' from the University of Oslo, Norway.Sanjay has over 22 years of experience. He has led projects with agencies such as the GEF, UNDP, US EPA, German government, ADB and World Bank. He continues to assist the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, India on appliance standards and building energy efficiency programs.

Emergent Ventures Board of DirectorsNaresh Chandra:Is a career diplomat, having held various positions in government, including Chief Secretary of the State of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Adviser to the Governor of J&K, Secretary to the Ministries of Water Resources, Defense, Interior and Justice in the Indian Government. He was Cabinet Secretary from 1990 to 1992 and was appointed Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of India from 1992 to 1995 and Ambassador of India to the United States from 1996 to 2001. He is currently on the boards of various companies, including Tata Consultancy Services Limited, Bajaj Auto Ltd., Balrampur Chini Mills Limited, Hindustan Motors Limited, and Electrosteel Castings Limited.

Ravi K Sinha: Is a business leader and management professional with a successful track record of turn-around, new business launches, building market leadership, negotiating international treaties, organization capability building, mergers & acquisitions etc. Under his leadership one of the main divisions of SRF Limited went on to win the coveted Deming Prize.

TVG Krishnamurthy: Is a management professional with more than 40 years of global experience working with Indian, Chinese and MNC companies across Asia. He has worked with Grindwell Norton, India, and Kalbe Pharma and Cadbury, India, and was on the Board of SRF Ltd, India. He is also a mentor to a number of very interesting start-ups in technology, both IT and bio-technology.

Rajan Pandhare: Rajan has built software services businesses across Europe, USA and India. He has also been involved in the oil and gas business and thereafter the country director of India & Cambodia for Clinton's HIV/AIDS Initiative. Rajan is also the director of Imperial Innovations India, a JV of Imperial College UK engaged in commercialization of intellectual property, and Board Member of The Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. Rajan is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of Kalpan Hydro.

Satish Mandhana: Is a MD of Investments at IDFC Private Equity. Mr. Mandhana has over 24 years of private equity, corporate finance and business strategy experience. Just before joining IDFC PE, he was the CFO and Head of Business Strategy at JK Paper and Head of Investment Banking at SRF Finance (now part of GE Capital)
