The Every Generation Positive Ageing Awards recognise the importance of a philosophy of positive ageing. They acknowledge the contributions of older individuals as well as programs, projects and organisations which realise and exemplify positive ageing. Just as people of all ages actively enjoy what interests them, many people experience ageing as an enjoyable, positive and valued experience. Notwithstanding disability and frailty, it is a time of personal fulfillment as well as a time of ongoing contribution to family and society. Award nominees will clearly care about older people and exhibit positive attitudes, a love of life, and a concern for others.
