Thank You
WelcomeI would like to warmly welcome you to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and thesecond Everlast Alpine Challenge. It’s fantastic that so many of you are joiningus again, and that we have many new guests making the time and effort tojoin us for some networking, a few beers, some carving on the pistes and ofcourse, the toboggan race!
I have always believed that some of the best business is done through socialoccasions. I hope that you too will find it productive meeting like minded construction industryprofessionals over the next few days but most importantly have fun both on and off the snow. With local events company, Alpine International, we have put together what we hope will be agreat Challenge. I would like to thank our sponsors, without whose support all this would notbe possible.
I am also pleased that all proceeds from the Toboggan Race will be donated to an outstandingcharity, The Leeds Children Hospital Appeal, which brings me to thinking that while I failed lastyear I WILL be the Toboggan champion this year. Any challengers? See you at Peaches!
Terry Deighton, CEO, Everlast Group

Everlast's Chosen Charity for 2015Leeds Childrens Hospital Appeal - What’s it all about?Leeds Children’s Hospital is the second largest service for Children in the country and wascreated in April 2010 by bringing all children’s inpatient services together in one location at theLeeds General Infirmary, solving the issue of seriously ill youngsters having to be transferredacross the city.
The range of specialised children’s services in Leeds that has evolved to meet the needs of thelocal, regional and national child population is extensive. Their children’s services admit over30,000 children to wards each year, they treat over 109,000 children in outpatient departmentsand see nearly 60,000 children each year through their Accident and Emergency Department.
Their main aim is to make every child’s stay in hospital better, brighter and happier. No childwants to stay in hospital and neither do their parents, so they try and make their stay ascomfortable as possible.
They want to make the wards, theatres, parent waiting rooms and day case areas bright, friendlyand welcoming for children and their families. Then there is also the state of the art medicalequipment we fund which makes procedures quicker, safer, less discomforting and helpsmaintain Leeds as a centre of excellence for Children’s Hospitals.
Everlast are delighted to be supporting this great charity. Please visit our Just giving page tomake a donation. Type "Chris Bott" and it will take you to the page.
