Baseball Gold MedalWhen I was a kid, baseball was my favorite sport. There was a local baseball competition coming up and I practiced almost everyday to get better. I got better day by day and the competition started soon after. My team went on to win the local game. I was awarded a gold medal and I kept it as a reminder that I can be just as athletic as others could.

Every kid desires a nice vehicle and to drive a vehicle at all one needs a driver’s license. I studied hard to familiarize myself with all the rules and regulations of the road so I may drive upon the roads. I actually failed the first time but it only made me more anxious to achieve it. I was able to get my license during the second attempt. Ever since I have had a vehicle, I have travelled to many distant locations such as Montreal, Niagara Falls, America, and more.

Driver’s License

High School DiplomaAfter a long hard 4 years of high school, I finally earned my high school diploma. When I earned my diploma, I truly felt as if I am capable of doing any work and pursuing any field I desired. It was tough but I was able to achieve an honor roll award along with my diploma. I currently am waiting to put my college diploma along with these awards and that is truly when all doors will open for me.

Centennial College

After years of trying to decide what I want to become, I realized that I want to become a manager. Due to my disability and the ability to learn a little slower, I always wondered if I could actually overcome the challenges of studying. After years of procrastination, I tried very hard to get into a well-known college and I was able to demonstrate my knowledge through the assessment test that takes place before being admitted. I passed the necessary assessments and I was a student at Centennial College and am on my way to being well versed in the business industry.

It is my deep desire to become a manager at Loblaws which is known world-wide. In order to make my future goals become true, I had to gain an entry-level position at any department in the store. I was able to gain the position of seafood clerk and have been working there for over 2 years now. Once I achieve my diploma and have seniority, I will be able to advance to a store manager position. Not to mention, my education at Centennial will aid me in performing all duties.
