Come hear about a potential career path in Computer Science! Dr. Kristin Yvonne Rozier holds a position as a Research Computer Scientist in the Intelligent Systems Division of NASA Ames Research Center and a courtesy appointment at Rice University. In January she will join the faculty at the University of Cincinnati. She earned a Ph.D. in computer science from Rice University and B.S. and M.S. degrees from The College of William and Mary. Dr. Rozier's research focuses on automated techniques for the formal specification, validation, and verification of safety critical systems. Her advances in computation for the aerospace domain earned her the American Helicopter Society's Howard Hughes Award, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Intelligent Systems Distinguished Service Award, and the Women in Aerospace Inaugural Initiative-Inspiration-Impact Award. She has also earned the Lockheed Martin Space Operations Lightning Award, the NASA Group Achievement Award, and the SWE Above and Beyond Award. Dawn McIntosh – Deputy Project Manager for the BioSentinel Mission & the Associate Division Chief for Mission Systems in the Intelligent Systems Division, NASA Dawn McIntosh is both the Deputy Project Manager for the BioSentinel Mission and the Associate Division Chief for Mission Systems in the Intelligent Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center. Prior to taking on these two roles, Dawn was the Deputy Project Manager for the LADEE Mission during three critical phases of the mission: Integration & Test, Launch and Operations Preparations and Mission Operations. She has been at Ames for 15 years, working on projects ranging from space shuttle data analysis to aviation safety and from software algorithm development to spacecraft operations. For the last five years, Dawn has focused her attention on small spacecraft. Julie Cullivan – Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Operations, FireEye As chief information officer and senior vice president of business operations, Julie oversees applications and operations, infrastructure services, cloud service operations and information security. She also leads sales operations and FireEye’s integration management office. Julie brings more than 20 years of systems and programs experience in enterprise high tech companies to FireEye. Previously, she was vice president of global sales and marketing operations at Autodesk, senior vice president, worldwide sales operations at McAfee and has also held executive roles at EMC, Asera and Oracle.
