I created the stop frame animation with my friend and media student Alex Gibbon.

We thought of and drafted many ideas. Until we decided to use the idea of having Optimus Prime (transformers) and King Kong as the main characters. This developed into King Kong being chased by Optimus Prime.

The props we used were Optimus Prime and King Kong figures, as well as a small toy car, a kinder surprise toy and a model Empire State Building. These props were easy to use and gave us more ideas throughout the process of making the stop motion.

The location we used to put all of this together was my back garden patio.

We used a digital camera to capture the images, we then uploaded them to a computer (PC) using PowerPoint . To convert this in to a video we used convertfiles.com finally we upload the video to our blogs.

Parts of our narrative was original and parts were taken from other texts. For example, when King Kong if on the empire state building and a plane is attacking him, this was taken from the film King Kong. But we gave him a more villainous part in our stop motion.

The building prop (empire state building) was used to recreate the streets of new york
