Prometheus

Reprisal

We chose to frame the title of our film in the

centre of the screen against a black

background using a simple white font. This is similar to the tile of ‘Prometheus’ the title

is also framed in the centre and is in a white font with a

background featuring dark ominous colours.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Reprisal

Our opening title sequences shares

similarities with the opening titles

of ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

as they both include the

phrase ‘A …. Film’.

One Hour Photo

Reprisal

Our shot of the man looking through photos of the family

he is having revenge on is very similar to the close up

shot of Sy in ‘One Hour Photo’ doing the same thing.

Despite the difference that our character is using a

computer and the other Sy is looking at hard copies, both

shots have a similar appearence.

The Lovely Bones

Reprisal

This wide shot from The Lovely Bones of

the murderer walking into his basement is

similar to ours in the sense that you are unable to see the

killers face however the shadows and dim

lighting is a lot more intense in the

professionally shot one.
