ADOBE PRODUCTS With have little experience with editing in the past; I have learnt a great deal of

amount on how to use Adobe Premier pro as well as After Effect which was used to create a title scene (which had to be scrapped). I spend a great deal of my time playing around on premier pro getting use to all the tools and effect I might be able to use for my thriller piece. Since the preliminary task I've learnt different

colouring techniques to enhance the colours of my piece such as making the scene darker and turning it black and white in certain areas. I also used many different

transactions than in my preliminary task which I managed to get the hand of relatively fast and was using them into great effect. I also managed to mute,

enhance, rise and lower sounds using Soundbooth by adobe which is used during the ending scene where I muted the background noises and music.

After Effect was used to create the opening credits but I did have to scrap the idea at the end due to problems with uploading and rendering. But I did manage to create a glitching effect used in such films like Seven during the film’s opening scene. I thought this would make a massive impact in my thriller piece as the font for the title in the final piece looks boring and dull while with the glitching after effect it sets the mood for a psycho thriller

CANO 550DSLRI also excelled in using the Canon 550D SLR which I managed to get the perfect focus on scenes and zooming in and out in which I used in the preliminary as a low standard. I managed to book the camera over a weekend in which I had a full day to get use to the camera learning all the different shooting modes, getting certain focuses etc. I did also try out different camera and compare them all to get the best quality film. In the end the Canon 550D SLR was the best by far with it being easy to use and amazing quality. It has also inspired me to purchase this camera in the upcoming months.
