Evaluation Question 6 (Part 1): What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

The scanner was used in our researching process and it came in handy as we needed to scan some documents to put on our blog but it was also helpful in showing other group members some research we had made if they were not close to us but had a computer.

The PC was involved in almost all of our pre-production. We used the PC for research mostly and from doing this we have broadened our knowledge of how hard researchers in film must work.

The tripod was used to keep the camera stable because if there were a lot of shakes in our film then it would look very unprofessional and not believable at all. The tripod also helped with a range of shot that would have been a lot harder without it for example with the tripod we could tilt it up and down for low angle and high angle shots.

To make a film you need a camera and I believe that this isn’t the best camera because the visual quality isn’t very good but it did its job and it also has some features that I like for example the flap on the side can rotate 360 degrees around so the person who is acting can see if they are placed in the sot right.

The flip cam was very useful for interviews and questionnaires and compared to the camera we used for filming, it was a lot quicker to upload videos because the videos could be uploaded straight from the camera.

We used the MAC for almost all of our post - production. With the Mac we were able to cut and add effects to our film, and make into the opening we wanted because I believe if we had edited our film with the programs on a PC it would not have been as good because with the MAC you are allowed to be a lot more creative.
