4.  Who would be the audience for your media product?

Target audience

To find out what our audience would want in the opening we had surveys completed, which gave us ideas of how to format our opening and we handed out surveys to teachers and students.

Our audience would range from 16+ who watch thrillers, and don’t mind a little horror. Also from our research, we can see that there is more likely to be females in this ages group.

We can also see from the graph that females enjoy thrillers more that males, as the thriller has a hint of a ‘love story’ which is very appealing to teenage girls and the gore and horror are appealing to teenage boys.
