Institution The magazine which I based my magazine upon was
MixMag (http://www.mixmag.net/) and this magazine is owned by Development Hell Ltd which is a publishing company situated in London.
Who are Development Hell LTD? Development Hell LTD is a publishing company
who own MixMag. Development Hell LTD bought MixMag in 2005 then later in 2006 they re launched the magazine with a new and improved design. They had a business plan to release 3 magazines over the course of 6 years.
What is institution in Media? Media institution is a company that owns large
numbers of companies in various mass media such as television, radio, publishing, movies, and the Internet.
Do Development Hell publish to the Mass or Niche audience?
Development Hell publish to a mass audience as the main magazine that they produce ‘MixMag’ is ‘the worlds biggest dance and clubbing destination’. This shows that there is a lot of people interested in the magazine and they have to target a wide audience.
