How did you use media technologies in the construction and

research, planning and evaluation stages

O When I was planning and researching my film I used lots different technologies such as: word press, Facebook,YouTube, Google, Slide share, Vimeo, Short of the week, future shorts, blue tongue films

Word PressWord press is the main/key site we used to organise,

research and plan our short film. Here we were able to

organise our thought process and document my journey of

making our film. Word press was also useful as we could

embed video from sites like YouTube, Vimeo, short of the

week ect to show films that we liked.

YouTube

O Due to YouTube having a wide range of

subscribers when researching short films on

this site a range of short films came up. Giving

us a wide choice when we started to think what

sort of genre we wanted to go into.

Short film websites

O Vimeo and Short of the week were the main short film websites I used when I was researching short films and genres. I particularly liked this site as most the shorts were good quality and both the sites were easy to use

Construction of the film

O When constructing our film we used a

cannon camera and a tripod. We also used

a range of different sizes of tripods so we

could get a variation of shots and different

angles.

Sound equipment When coming to film our film our sound equipment stop

working and we had to use the sound through our DSLR

camera. However, on our first few practice shoots on our

film we used all the sound equipment below; consequently

it sounded very clear.

Premier pro

O We used this programme to cut together our

film. As we learnt how to use it last year it was

easy and simple to use.

Indesign

O We used indesign software to create our

poster and magazine article. It took us a while

to get use it but overall we found it quite

simple to use.

Adobe Photoshop

O We used adobe photoshop a lot when making

our magazine and poster for our film. We found

this a very useful tool and relatively easy to use.

We mainly used this when constructing our

poster.
