Time inc. is a popular American publishing company that would be able to publish my magazine. The company publishes over 90 magazines including the hugely successful music magazine National Music Express (NME) which is similar to mine.

The target audience of NME is also similar to mine with their focus being young adults however NME magazine focuses on slightly different genders as NME is more focused towards, while I am trying to attract an equal audience.

So by publishing my magazine they would have both genders fully covered meaning it would be beneficial to them. If time inc. published my magazine it would boost the success as they are a company that know a lot about my target audience, meaning that Time inc would be hugely beneficial in marketing my magazine.

Bauer media are a well known European-based publishing company that manages over 600 magazines. Bauer are famous for publishing the music magazines Q and Kerrang!(rock/indie genre).

Q magazine is similar to my own magazine and has a similar target audience of young adults to my own, this would help market the magazine to its full potential and make it more appealing to my target audience.

Approaching Bauer media would be very beneficial for my magazine due to their experience in hugely music magazines of different genres, however they do already have a popular music magazine which is similar to mine therefore they may not be interested in launching another popular music magazine.
