The effectiveness of the combination of my film and ancillary tasks is fairly good. As you can see, I have used the same colour themes throughout all my work as well as using the same fonts for both the poster and review. This shows that they all relate to one another. The film however uses a slightly different font although it has the same colour and is very similar therefore I do not think that this is especially important.

I think that the fonts and colour schemes work very well as they are bold and stand out. The colours also help show the genre of my film with the dark reds connoting blood and the dark backgrounds which are also commonly shown in horror.

The characters and location of the film are shown in the poster and review which is shown here. I used them in the poster and review to relate to the film and so just by looking at the ancillaries you can get an idea as to what the film itself is actually about.

It is very important that I used the actors in all three tasks so they link together. If I had not used them it would not have looked right and the combination of the three products would be awful as it would not make a lot of sense due to not linking together.

The lighting effects such as the blue tinge in all the shots of the antagonist have also been used in the poster and review which shows how they all link together with the film.

The website address for the film appears in both the review and the poster which links people to more information about the film as well as connecting the two ancillaries together. It means that people can find out more information about the film online if they are interested in it.

Conclusion

In conclusion to evaluation question 2, I feel that the combination of my film and my ancillary products are very effective due to all the little details such as screen shots, font and colour theme that all appear in the three different products connecting them all together.
