I think that the title “Pulp Fiction” suits the thriller genre because it refers to the cheap novels and magazines of the early 20th century, printed on the cheapest pulp papers possible and the stories often involved crime, romance, action and suspense.

I think that the title “Pulp Fiction” suits the thriller genre because it refers to the cheap novels and magazines of the early 20th century, printed on the cheapest pulp papers possible and the stories often involved crime, romance, action and suspense.

The location or setting of this frames is unusual for a thriller genre because usually locations for a thriller movie would be a mysterious location but this frame demonstrates calm atmosphere.

The props are typical in an action thriller movie because weapons represents violence which is mainly used in an action movie.The characters are wearing suits which is typical for a thriller movie because is demonstrate their status or hierarchy.

The editor used close ups to show the facial expression of the characters and also the editor uses a two shot mid shot to show what is happening in the scene.

The editor uses shot reverse shot to show that one character is shown looking at another character and then the other character is shown looking back at the first character.

The colour of the title stands out from the black background so that the title is clear to read. Also the titles fades in and fades out because it implies that its moving.

This frame gives a clue to what the storyline would be because this shot shows a person pointing a gun at people around him which instantly makes the audience think that the film is going to be about crime.

The opening scene doesn’t introduce the main character but this frame gives a clue what they would. For example, they can be police officers or detectives.

Stop motion or stop frame is used in this part of the film. This means that this part is paused or stop. This was used before the title sequence begins
