DUBAI: The Gitex Technology Week entered its third day on Tuesday. The exhibitors

and companies are jubilant and upbeat about this year’s exhibition. Over 100,000

ICT professionals and 3,700 exhibitors are taking part at the event. The number of

visitors are increasing day by day. The visitors are keen to take a bird eye view of the

that enables users to enjoy live satellite content on any connected screen anywhere

at home.

The revolutionary product was launched at the popular technology event Gitex

Technology Week 2014, being held at the Dubai International Exhibition and

Convention Center until October 16, 2014.

The Satellite Home Gateway or ES 9450, being one of the first certified SATIP

servers, enables consumers to access live satellite content across multiple screens

and locations by the use of SAT>IP clients (tablets, smartphones, PC, thin IP STB,

among others). The device is embedded with four DVB-S2 tuners and has a built-in

Wifi access point with QoS which makes it a fully autonomous product.

The device enables Ethernet connection, as a result of which end users can have a

full connected TV experience.

The ES 9450 also is equipped with a 500MB data disk and can additionally support

2TB HDD for recording purposes.

Commenting on the launch of the ES 9450, Raju Jethwani, Chairman of Eurostar

During the show, LG Electronics also unveiled its new 98-inch class Ultra HD

commercial-grade display at InfoComm for the first time in the MEA. Available now in

the Middle East, model 98LS95A is redefining large-screen digital signage, with next-

generation 4K Ultra HD capabilities paving the way.

In its third year of participating in InfoComm, LG Electronics is displaying the massive

screen at their stand which showcases how LG Electronics has raised the bar for the

digital signage industry in 2014 as their new focus is on higher-resolution, higher-

brightness, energy-efficient LED and Ultra HD* technology.

Digital Signage through innovative implementations and easy customization to meet
