European Broadband Portal Phase II
Application of the Blueprint for “bottom-up” broadband initiatives
ICT Blueprints
• Purpose – the programme design and organising principle for knowledge that can accelerate or support the development of ICT capability or capacity in European Countries, Regions or Locales
• Variants – blueprints are under development for a range of sectors including health, education, government, industries (etc)
• Broadband Blueprint - This first blueprint is focused on broadband infrastructure development that can be applied in many contexts with “bottom-up” approaches being a primary example
• Alignment to Digital Agenda - The blueprints are all designed to bridge the gap from “policy to practice”, to bring solutions to life, to make a vision a reality, and to contribute directly to the Digital Agenda
