DAY ONE TUES, JULY 14, 2020 - Upon arrival at Paris international airport please make your way through customs and immigration to the arrivals area where you will be met by a local English speaking ASSISTANT who will transfer you by private COACH to your hotel. Please note your rooms may not be ready until the hotel’s check-in time, typically 3.00pm. The rest of the day is free at leisure to enjoy the Bastille Day Fireworks and festivities.

 

DAY TWO WED, JULY 15, 2020 - (B) 

Breakfast at the hotel.  English speaking GUIDE and COACH for half day (4hrs) tour with visit of the Louvre.  Please note the Louvre opens at 9.00am.  The coach will pick you up from the hotel at 8.15am.  Explore the Louvre Museum and its famous collection with over 35,000 pieces of art from prehistory to the 21st century and including, of course, the famous Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo da Vinci.  At 5PM we will depart on an African Food Tour where we will experience the cuisine of food cooked by the locals. You've heard of plantain, but what about alloco, samoussa, attiéké, or bouille? Includes a local market visit with renowned Paris Expert Jacqueline Mpii,. 2h-2h30 or dinner at an African Restaurant

 

DAY THREE THURS, JULY 16, 2020 - PARIS – AMBOISE AREA - PARIS (BL) 

Breakfast at the hotel.  Meet your full-day English speaking GUIDE and board COACH for a full day trip to the Amboise area (12hrs).

Visit the Chateau de Chambord and its grandiose architecture rival that of the Palace of Versailles. 60 rooms may be visited and you’ll enjoy a collection of 4,500 objects of art displayed in superbly refurbished apartments (entrance to Chateau & gardens included). Then visit the Château de Chenonceau is one of the oldest and most beautiful castles in France (entrance to Chateau & gardens included). Group Lunch is included at a local restaurant (2-course set menu, drinks not included). Return to Paris and to your hotel.

 

DAY FOUR FRI, JULY 17,  2020 - PARIS (B)

Today is a free day. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and take an to of (Price OPTIONAL Black ParisTBA) or a Tour to Versailles 

 

DAT FIVE SAT, JULY 18, 2020 PARIS - LONDON (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, and then an ASSISTANT and COACH will transfer you to Paris Gare du Nord train station where you will say goodbye to the assistant and board the Eurostar train to London (one-way Standard ticket included).

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your full-day GUIDE and board COACH for London sightseeing tour (8hrs). See Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park and Speakers Corner, London Bridge, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

Visit the Tower of London. One of Britain’s most fascinating and important historical structures with its macabre associations with the legendary figures imprisoned and/or executed here, includes the armoires, a display of instruments of torture and execution, and the Crown Jewels Exhibit (entrance to Tower of London included).

Return to the hotel.

See the Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent and continue on for a visit of the Roman Baths at the heart of the city of Bath World Heritage Site (entrance included to the Roman Baths). Return to London.

CONTINUE DAY 9 WED, JULY 22, 2020 - DUBLIN ARRIVAL (D)Land at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities before meeting your CIE Tours driver/guide, who will welcome you to Ireland. Take an orientation drive around Dublin city center. Dublin is one of the liveliest capitals in Europe but there are plenty of historical places also. See the main thoroughfares of O’Connell Street and Nassau Street, the shopping streets and some lovely public parks. Next, visit EPIC Ireland, which celebrates the dramatic story of the spread of Irish culture around the globe, and how Ireland, has changed throughout the years. Transfer to your nearby hotel, check-in and settle into your room. This evening, drive to the Merry Ploughboy Pub for dinner followed by a lively show of traditional Irish songs, dancing, and music. 

DAY 10 WED, JULY 23, 2020 - BLARNEY & KILLARNEY (BL)Leaving Dublin, travel into County Tipperary for photos of the Rock of Cashel. These majestic church ruins are clustered high on a limestone outcrop overlooking the surrounding countryside. Next, drive to Blarney, where you can climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous "Stone of Eloquence." Also, visit the Blarney Woollen Mills, which has an excellent range of Irish products. From Blarney, journey through the rugged countryside to Killarney. Upon arrival take a horse-drawn jaunting car ride through the grounds of the Killarney National Park. Then check into your nearby hotel for your overnight stay. Tonight, you can dine at one of the many restaurants or pubs scattered throughout the town.

DAY 11 THURS, JULY 24, 2020 - CLIFFS OF MOHER (BD)Departing Killarney, head to Tarbert and take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary. Next, drive along the coast of scenic County Clare. Here, you can stop to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved, natural landmarks. See magical vistas, overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean along with Ireland’s Western coastline. Then travel to the quaint village of Bunratty and check into your hotel. You may wish to relax or freshen up before tonight’s farewell festivities.

This evening, you could join in the fun and feasting at Bunratty or Knappogue Castle. Your medieval-style banquet is served in the Great Hall of the 15th-century castle.

DAY 12 FRI JULY 21, 2020 - RETURN TO THE UNITED STATESTransfer to Shannon Airport and check-in for your flight. You may do some last-minute shopping at the duty-free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying back to the United States.
