Created in 1979, the Centro Galego de Bruxelas is a cultural association of Galicians living in Belgium. It promotes and protects Galician culture, especially its music and traditional dance.

It has a library with more than 3,000 books written in Galician or related to Galician culture and you can sign up for dance courses and various other cultural activities. It is the home of two bands - A Banda, a group of Galician traditional music and Afía, a multi-national band of young girls - and a group of Galician traditional dancers (Galicia Baila) who have performed across Europe and have been awarded several folk festival prizes.
