• DG SANTE and MS disagree with unjustified SPS Russian
bans against EU exports
• Some operators located outside the EU are overturning the
Russian ban using falsified customs declarations, health
certificates and commercial documents.

Why an interest for the FFN?
• This is an opportunity to deter companies with
fraudulent behaviours: it can be expected that they could
also be involved in other fraudulent activities.
• The cases mirror organised crime schemes.
