1. What is your organization doing to keep members engaged while distancing socially and taking health precautions? We are hosting monthly zoom meetings in place of our previously scheduled meetings. We are also encouraging our members to write their legislators in regard to the current pandemic crisis and its effects on nurses and nursing students in TN and the USA.

We're asking our members to work on pitches for films for us to make next semester, sharing resources for low-to-no budget filmmaking capable of being done at home, and as always, asking students to ask for help if they need it with their capstone films or other class projects.

1. What is your organization doing to keep members engaged while distancing socially and taking health precautions? We are working on setting up virtual meeting times with speakers since we cannot have them face to face.

2. What are you doing to recognize and/or provide closure for your graduating members? Our graduation regalia has been ordered, but without knowing if/when we will be having graduation, we are just encouraging them to keep working hard and looking towards the future.

3. How are you supporting members that may be experiencing financial, mental health: We have not addressed this with our members but we can bring it up to them and give them the ETSU and community resources that are in place to help in times like this.

1. What is your organization doing to keep members engaged while distancing socially and taking health precautions? Our organizations operate mostly through hosting meetings for the psychology students that count for class credit. As of yet, we have not had any types of meetings in order to keep members engaged.

2. What are you doing to recognize and/or provide closure for your graduating members? We are discussing with our faculty advisors about how to go about inducting graduating seniors since we cannot have an in person ceremony. Information will be sent out to those affected soon.

3. How are you supporting members that may be experiencing financial, mental health: As of yet we have not had any members reach out to us concerning these issues.

4. Anything else we can help you with or just general questions or concerns? None at the moment.



1. What is your organization doing to keep members engaged while distancing socially and taking health precautions? Currently, we have finished programming for the semester but will be looking at ways to move our programming to Zoom if this continues for an extended period of time. We are also looking at service opportunities that adhere to current CDC recommendations on social distancing and isolation (e.g. PPE supply drives and sewing reusable fabric masks). Most of our membership are in medical school and are continuing their studies or moving into periods of licensure testing, so we are trying to be respectful of the increased work load they have on them as well.

2. What are you doing to recognize and/or provide closure for your graduating members? Traditionally, we have participated in college-based recognition ceremonies, and with the current situation, we are looking for ways at the broader school level to recognize and celebrate our graduating members.

3. How are you supporting members that may be experiencing financial, mental health: We are ensuring that our student members are aware of the virtual counseling options offered through ETSU as well as the College of Medicine and are connecting them with community-based organizations offering different types of support.

4. Anything else we can help you with or just general questions or concerns? I would appreciate ideas on how to integrate lunch-and-learn style meetings with the current public health situation. A fair number of our programming involves hosting lunches for student members to connect with community public health and medical leaders, but with current guidelines, we are not able to provide that style of engagement. Also, will there be guidance on how to use organizational funds with this current corona virus pandemic if we are not able to meet in-person for sometime?

Our executive board and advisors have been conducting zoom meetings and we have been reaching out to our active members. Whether it is by group me, text, or social media we have been reaching out to make sure they are all safe or if they are in need of anything during this time.

2. What are you doing to recognize and/or provide closure for your graduating members? Our executive board has a zoom meeting scheduled with our organization advisors early next week to create a plan for these graduating members.

How are you supporting members that may be experiencing financial, mental health: We have been reaching out to these members on a daily basis to make sure they are healthy or if they are in need of anything. We have not yet had members report any problems with their financial, mental, or health but when that arises we have alternatives that may be able to help them.

We are reaching out to them personally to ask for their wisdom/advice about the goals of the organization for the rest of the semester. Also, we are informing them that - although this is not the ending we all wanted - we appreciate all they have done for us.

Since the residence halls are pretty much closed our organization is working on planning for next year. We are not sure who will be living in Davis so interaction with residents is scarce.

3. How are you supporting members that may be experiencing financial, mental health: I am regularly checking in via GroupMe to get updates on how everyone is doing.

2. What are you doing to recognize and/or provide closure for your graduating members? Our graduating members are still receiving the weekly emails and they have been given cords for graduation. They will be invited to join us for our April chapter meeting.

We have offered members the opportunity for individual zoom meetings and we will continue to try and run the chapter as if we were still on campus. We have asked that any member who may be struggling reach out to one of the executive team and we will assist them to the best of our abilities.

Due to ongoing circumstances regarding the cancelling of in-person meetings and the format of our meetings (informative presentations, movie nights, hands-on activities, and end-of -semester potluck), all officers of the Japanese Cultural Society have agreed to cancel meetings for the rest of the semester.

2. What are you doing to recognize and/or provide closure for your graduating members? The Japanese Cultural Society has never recognized graduating members or provided "closure." Our meetings are very casual and informative, so there is no pressure to attend every single meeting.

The 2 graduating OSR leaders are being supported individually due to the cancellation of their match ceremony and other social opportunities. 3. How are you supporting members that may be experiencing financial, mental health: Our meetings are being presented as optional and have no impact on future involvement.

We have informed our members that our meetings will be postponed until the fall and that we will notify them as soon as we are able to get our first event launched. We are a brand new group that hasn't even had its first meeting yet, so we will likely "kick-off" in the fall.

3. How are you supporting members that may be experiencing financial, mental health: The college of medicine is working to address many of these issues. We support those efforts, but because we are so new, we only have 5 founding members, and as of yet, we do not have extensive supportive measures.
