Thanks for viewing the Eternal Alliance Runescape Clan newsletter, and current ranks roster. This newsletter is updated periodically, so please visit us again soon to see game progress and rank changes for our players. We will post information from our forums here, too.

Event participation is required for rank. To keep your rank and gain higher rank, keep training steadily and host or attend 1 event every 2 months. Any rank may host an event. Those who do not maintain changing minimum requirements will be reduced to next lower rank.

Event Participation was reset to zero for everyone on October 1st for tracking purposes. Inactive players will be removed from the roster on January 1st, 2011. Please be sure to let Sil Eternal know who attends your events when you host them.

DRAGON BATTLES

This month, I revisited bronze dragons for a bit of battle and experience points toward my defense training. It didn't hurt to loot a little along the way. You might do well with other gear substituted, considering I have 70+ prayer and 90+ melee stats. Here's what I used:

ARMOUR AND WEAPONS USED: Helm of Neitznot Strength Skillcape (Substitue an Obsidian Cape) Amulet of Fury (Substitute an Amulet of Glory) Monks Robes Recipe for Disaster Gloves Ring of Wealth Dragon Scimitar Anti-Dragon Shield Dragon Boots

CARRIED ITEMS: 1 Axe (Required To Enter Area) 905 Gp (Required To Enter Area) 1 Amulet of Glory (For Quick Teleport) 100 Nature Runes (For High Alchemy) 1 Lava Staff (For High Alchemy) 2 Lobsters 10 Prayer potions (4) 2 Antifire potions (4) Pay for ship fare from Port Sarim, if you go that route, or travel to Karamja via teleportation or other means. Head West through Brimhaven, to the pineapple plants. Brimhaven Dungeon entrance is just a little South of there. Pay a fee each time you enter the dungeon.

Travel West through the dungeon until you reach an agility crossing point, then head south past a group of fire giants. Head East until you reach the bronze dragons.

You will encounter hell hounds at the same spot. Try to keep engaged with bronze dragons, or you will have to fight the hell hounds, too. Both are aggressive for 15 minutes, then you are able to fight bronze dragons without much interference from hell hounds.

Bronze dragon drops include dragon bones and bronze bars along with mithril, adamant or rune weapons. I've gotten a dragon spear from them a couple of times. Rather than travel back and forth to the bank, bring Hi-alchemy runes to convert items to cash. If anyone wants company while fighting bronze dragons, contact me ahead of time. We'll make an event of it.

EARNING GOLD

One major objective for many players is the quest for gold in Runescape. In future articles, we will discuss specific methods for earning gold. Today, we're looking at opportunities available where low or no skills are required.

For new players (and some old ones, too) Lumbridge Castle has several items spawning every few minutes. With a little effort, a significant stockpile of items worth over 100 gold pieces each can be banked. In the kitchen, one may find an empty jug and a knife. In the basement, two pair of boots, an empty jug, a knife, an empty bucket and a cabbage are found. Get all of these items, then return to the kitchen to start again, until your backpack is full. There is a short delay possible before the first item respawns. When your pack is full, fill all the empty jugs with water. This increases their value. One full load of these items is often worth more than 2800 gold pieces. Bank you rfull pack and start again. If you need them, a single mind rune spawns by the West 1st floor stairs, and a single bronze arrow spawns by the East 1st

floor stairs.

The general store in Lumbridge offers some free samples, as do many shops in Runescape. Take advantage of any which might best help you.

Harvest pineapples from the junghle Southwest of Brimhaven. They are worth 60 gold pieces or more each without any processing or cooking required.

Once you have a bit of gold saved up, buy teak logs from the Grand Exchange and have them cut into planks at the sawmill. Sell the planks on the Grand Exchange for a significant profit, again, no skill required.

North of Edgeville in the wild, follow a trail of coin spawns Northeast until you find bronze arrow spawns. Continue Northeast until you find the “bone yard,” where several big bones and a few normal bones spawn. For me, prayer experience points are more useful than selling bones, but they do sell quickly, for those interested.

A single tomato and cheese spawn in the witch's house at Draynor Village. This is more profitable once you are able to make pizza, and even more profitable to make anchovy or pineapple pizza, though some cooking skill is required.

Several farm patches have items you can pick. Buy some empty sacks from the lady at the farm North of Port Sarim, and head to the cabbage patch. Pick cabbage and fill your sacks with 10 cabbage each. These sell for a bit more than individual cabbage.
