Arel Moodie, national best selling author, student leader, entrepreneur and motivational speaker provided the keynote presentation and workshop for our local youth based on his life experiences and his book The Art of Likeability Interview Manual: How to Ace Your Next Job Interview, GUARANTEED!

Students, enrolled in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act programs through Employers' Training Resource, participated in a morning session of workshops and presentations, and the afternoon job fair was open to the public youth.

Over 40 employers and resources participated in the afternoon job fair where close to 300 youth job seekers attended. Many were interviewed and hired on the spot, with even more leaving with scheduled interviews later that week. Students and youth aged 18 to 24 were prepared for the event and arrived dressed to impress along with their resumes, and were ready to meet employers who were looking to hire youth for their businesses.

Information was provided about on-the-job training, paid work experience opportunities, training programs and other educational opportunities and services available through America's Job Center partners and other local resources.

How long has your company been using our services?

Was the No-Fee a main factor in deciding to use our services?

Has the AJCC recruitment program efcientlymet your companies hiring needs?

Would you use our services again and would you recommend them to other employers?

“Lolo's Mix has been using America's Job Center since our inception; we opened our doors on March 1st, and we started recruiting and working with AJCC Staff in February.”

“We were shocked when we found out there was no fee… that is such a huge benet. I was very appreciative of it, and made me want to tell other employers about that resource.”

“AJCC exceeded our expectations; we were able to hire all of our initial staff through two large recruitments.”

“I would absolutely use AJCC’s services again and I would absolutely recommend their services to other employers. The staff are so friendly, they are always very prompt. I just felt that their level of service exceeded any expectation that we had. And they were so knowledgeable, helpful, prompt; and not only that, they also provided a great wealth of candidates so that we can staff appropriately.”
