T erry is originally from the Philippines and has earned all her degrees in Manila, Philippines. She graduated with a degree in BS Civil Engineering and BS Sanitar y/Environment al Engineering at the National University on October 1988 and April 1989 respectively , earned her Master’s in Construction Management at the University of the East on March 1995 and nally a PhD in Development Education at the University of Santo Tomas on October 1999 and g raduated Summa Cum Laude. T erry was a practicing Civil Engineer and Sanitar y Engineer and was involved in both commercial and residential projects in the Philip pines. She has built residential homes, commercial buildings, gasoline stations and did some structural designing. She was an ocer of the Philippines Society of Sanitary Engineers. She moved to t he United States in 2000 and has been very active in the eld of estimating in both residential and commercial.
