Stephen Ministry

Although they participate in Stephen Ministry because of a desire to serve others, Stephen Ministers also experience personal growth. Hear the testimony of one of ESUMC’s Stephen

Ministers:

“Being a Stephen Minister has enhanced my spiritual growth. I am quicker to turn to God rather than rely on my own devices in coping with an issue. I have seen God transform a care receiver through prayer. Ministering to one who is experiencing the difficulties of life is a joyful experience. I can definitely see God at work in my care receivers.” To learn more about Stephen Ministry, contact Peggy Strack, 570-421-3280, ext. 23.
