6. 6. eTutoring Notre Dame College is one of over 40 members of the e- Tutoring Collaborative Provides limited e-Tutoring Subjects included: math, accounting, anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, statistics, and writing More subjects will be added with expansion of the program Services include: Offline Q&A which will be answered within 48 hours eChat online session with tutor Submit drafts and get feedback

Fairly easy to find, though the route seems less direct through the colleges internal website It can be found through the Resources & Services menu on the Notre Dame College home page Check out the page here: http://www.notredamecollege.edu/resources- and-services/e-tutoring On My NDC, a resource only students, faculty, and staff have access to the same page and it can be accessed under Academic Services and Dwyer Learning Center

Limited Library Access Unclear if the library has the option to deliver books to online students, but does participate in OhioLINK Also enables students access to multiple databases There is a section on the librarys page that is dedicated to Online students and outlines the resources available Includes a section for students outside of Ohio referring students to the OhioLINK Electronic Book Center and WorldCat.org

Learning Management System Support Notre Dame College has two IT professionals for assistance with Moodle for hybrid or in person courses, but fully online courses assistance goes directly through Learning House How easy is it to find this source? Online Financial Aid Office Although this is advertised as an online Financial Aid Office it is directed to the regular page of Financial Aid Office and does not seem to offer specific services to online students They do provide multiple avenues of contact information inlcuding email, phone, and fax for the distance student How easy is it to locate this source? Unable to Determine Due to time limitations, I limited my search to the Notre Dame College websites and did not conduct interviews or utilize other methods of investigation I was unable to determine if several eStudent Services existed in my search. These include: Online Student Orientation Online student access to Academic Support Center

Summary of Services for Online Students Notre Dame College has several important resources for online students including a virtual bookstore, eTutoring, and library accessibility Location of these resources A lot of these resources were found in one of four places: My NDC: an internal website only students, faculty, and staff have access to Notre Dame College Online website Notre Dame College website On the full online course login page ndc.learninghouse.com Finding them was simple, logical, and all the pages were live and updated There is room for improvement before these are equivalent to the resources offered to in person and hybrid course students However, several of these resources are offered through third parties who also be expanding their options and abilities to accommodate students in new ways too
