Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman of Suryadatta

Education Foundation, is a senior Management professional, a passionate

educationist and a philanthropist. Along with a degree in Mechanical

Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Pune, Dr. Chordiya

also completed his Masters in Marketing Management, Materials

Management, Industrial Management, Operations Management, Human

Resources Management and a Doctorate in Environmental Science.

Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya has served the industry in various capacities. He

was the Chairman of the SME Chamber of Commerce, Pune Chapter and as a

member of Telephone Advisory Committee, Pune and also of the prestigious

committee formed by the Ministry of Steel & Industries, GOI for raw material

planning in the Automobile industry. He is also a promoter member of EPSI,

Delhi.

He is a Fellow of the All India Management Association (AIMA), Institution of

Engineers and the Indian Institution of Production Engineers. He is a

Chartered Engineer and Educationist .He has visited many globally renowned

universities for International Visitor Leadership Program across US and

Exploring Best Practices in Higher Education such as University of Paris 1,

Harvard, MIT, Boston, Stanford, California State, The George Washington,

Maryland University Israel, Mascow etc.

He has been honored with numerous awards for his invaluable contribution to

Note : For MBA admissions, participation / enrollment in Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of DTE is mandatory as per new rules of admissions. Suryadatta Institutes of Management (Bavdhan) is facilitation centre for document verication. For Dual Specialization in MBA : Student can opt. for 2nd Specialization in 3rd year after successful completion of 2 years of MBA Course (Thus Total duration required for Dual Specialization in MBA is 3 years).

CURRICULUM - MBA (CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM)With effect from Academic Year 2013-14, the S. P. Pune University has revised the curriculum for MBA programme which is now based on Choice Based Credit Systems and Grading System. The new Curriculum addresses the expectations of stakeholders in more than one way. Keeping the vision in mind, some more specializations like Rural & Agribusiness Management and Family Business Management have been introduced in the curriculum for the rst time. The decision whether to offer one or all specializations would be decided by the institute subject to minimum 20% students enrolment for the specialization.

The new curriculum comprises of Core Courses and Elective Courses. The Credit System enables students to obtain credit which reects skill and knowledge acquired by him / her. Generic Core Courses in Semester I provide “Foundations of Management”, Generic Core courses in Semester II focus on “Functional Areas” and Generic Core courses in Semester III and Semester IV are “Integrative” in nature along with the Subject Core Courses.

Curricular Activities. Employability Index, Score in competency enhancement tests and will appear on the mark sheet of every

semester. (Below 60%=C Grade, 75% = B Grade, 80% and above = A Grade). If the attendance is found below 80% (for any

of the activities), term will not be granted.

throughout the year. I also got an option to learn

Students seeking admission in Suryadatta, can obtain education loan from various nationalized and even private banks (SBI, IDBI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Punjab National Bank, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank, etc. Students can avail education loan against registration of their seat from any one of the nationalized/ private bank. Nationwide Tie-Ups for Education Loan

I completed my graduation from Delhi University. Then I came to Pune for pursuing PG and

that was the time when I came to Suryadatta in search for the admissions. The admissions cell

was quite helpful. After taking the admission, my final journey begins in Pune as the post-

graduation student. And like every other student I also have the main concern of placement

but after interacting with the professors and the placement cell, I came to know that I am not

going to face any such placement problem here. Finally, I started my learning life where I

learned a lot of things from the college like being a team player alongside having the qualities

of a leader, participation in different events, etc. The college has helped me in understanding

the different perspectives of life and how are we going to control them. For that journey, I think

I have got the best professors which were always there for me. Whenever I have any doubts or

issues, they were always there to help me out. During my academic session, a number of

seminars were organized, where he used to call great businessman, entrepreneurs, managers

in big companies etc. just to guide us and show us the right way in achieving the success.

During the placement time, there were a number of companies came and because of the

proper guidance and knowledge I got campus placement. I got selected in TradeXL Media Pvt.

Ltd. as the Retention Sales Manager. Currently I am working in an UK based company,

Datamaran Ltd. under the designation of Junior Data Analyst.
