Brief Introduction:Technical people often simply arent good communicators. Success or failure of projectProject Manager should look at Timing Content/Correct information

1) Because they would rather spend their time in the technical details of what they are working on. For team members to be truly effective,they have to openly communicate with one another.. 2) Success or failure of project depends on Getting information to the correct team members.3) Project Manager make sure that communication should occurs at the correct time and with the correct information.

3Establishing Communication Model:TimingProblem arises if communication is too Soon or Late First problem in timing is Too Soon 2nd problem in timing is Late

1)Too soon : Its almost impossible to remember information given one year in advance of its use. The project manager has to understand what team members need to know and when .So make Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). so each member should know what is coming next and when.

2) A second problem in timing is getting the information to team members after they need it. Remember your team members needs few days to assimilate (properly understand) information. So provide them with information a few days before it going to need them . Properly understand: All team members should have as much information so that they should process the information in order to get the job done.

4Establishing Communication Model:ContentCorrect Information Ask Team what sort of information they need They dont know ; Sit down with them and find out what information is neededAll this for correct information to team members . Next issue: you need to be concerned about is communicating the correct information.If you dont know what information the team members need, ask them. If the team members dont know, sit down with them and find out what sort of information needs to be given to the team. Get the information to your team members with right content & at right time.5Thank You
