Juan was the first street child the McNallys encountered in 1994. Juan lived on the streets in a gang of children. There are an estimated 100,000 at-risk kids in Mexico. Living Hope International was founded in 1994. The Spanish name of the youth home is Esperanza Viva, meaning “Living Hope.” The first children’s dormitory was dedicated in 2011. It has a capacity of 144 children plus live-in supervisors. The vision for the 11-acre Puebla campus is to eventually house 288 children in two dorms. Several buildings have since been constructed in support of a wide range of needs and growth throughout the ministry. /Clinic
